Capcom Showcase Next Week Confirmed to Feature Dragon’s Dogma II
Capcom has confirmed that their upcoming Showcase on June 12, 2023, at 3 PM PT/ 6 PM ET will feature the highly anticipated action RPG Dragon’s Dogma II. Following the game’s latest trailer at the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase, we may learn new gameplay and story details. We’re pretty excited to see new footage of this title.
Dragon’s Dogma II has players explore a fantasy world through a single-player, narrative-driven action-RPG adventure. Players will experience the entire story of this adventurer, from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, and how to approach different situations.
Pawns also make an appearance, which is mysterious otherworldly beings, to provide a sense that you aren’t alone. The developer shared, “All of these elements are elevated further by the latest in graphics, artificial intelligence (AI), and physics technology to create a truly immersive fantasy world in Dragon’s Dogma 2.”
Dragon’s Dogma II is a sequel to 2012’s Dragon’s Dogma. The game will continue the narrative, but there is little information about the story outside of what we can see in the latest trailer.
Dragon’s Dogma II is in development using Capcom’s RE Engine. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on its development and eventual release.
Dragon’s Dogma II is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
