Capcom Launches Resident Evil Halloween-Themed 25th Anniversary Website; Teases Announcements Throughout The Month
Capcom has launched the 25th-anniversary website for the Resident Evil franchise (known as Biohazard in Japan). While there is currently no significant news on the website, there are provided dates for announcements throughout the month. In particular, there are 3 announcements planned for October 21, 2 announcements scheduled for October 22, 1 announcement scheduled for October 25, and a final announcement scheduled for October 29.
As usual, temper expectations, and don’t expect any massive new game reveals or the like. Instead, merchandise or smaller-scale projects will likely be announced throughout the rest of this month.
You can view the Resident Evil 25th anniversary website themed with Halloween decor here.
If you missed it, check out our review of Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. We are reintroduced to Ethan and Mia, who have moved to a new location and are relatively happy. However, right when they thought things were going well, tragedy befalls them. Players then assume the role of a distraught Etan who seeks to uncover the truth of the mysteries affecting a once peaceful village.
The game borrows the first-person perspective from Resident Evil 7 Biohazard as players explore a new town and uncover its secrets.
