Capcom Launches Dragon’s Dogma 10-Year Anniversary Website; More News Arriving Later This Year

Capcom has launched the 10-year anniversary website for action-adventure IP, Dragon’s Dogma, stating the series’ achievements and their gratefulness to fans.

The anniversary website houses the following celebratory message:

Dragon’s Dogma, first released in 2012, is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
Thank you, Arisen, for taking up arms and braving through the impossible challenges laid ahead of you. We are forever grateful for your support throughout the years and hope you will join us in this momentous celebration of Dragon’s Dogma!

While vague, more news throughout the year is teased. The site also contains a brief history section detailing each signification milestone the IP boasts. The series initially began in April 2012 with a digital comic prologue before the first game was released a month later to critical acclaim. Then, April 2013 saw the release of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, an ambitious expansion that opened the way to the Bitterblack Isle. Also of note, in September 2022, a 7-episode anime series for the IP was released on Netflix following protagonist Ethan.

With this year being a notable milestone for Dragon’s Dogma, it’s safe to assume that fans are clamoring for a fully-fledged sequel. There have been rumors and supposed leaks of one, but it’s always best to remain skeptical and cautious until official announcements are made.

We will keep you all updated on further occurrences with the Dragon’s Dogma’s 10-year anniversary.
