New Capcom Survey Asks What Resident Evil You Want Remade; Pretty Sure Everyone Will Just Answer Code Veronica

Capcom has released a new public survey regarding the Resident Evil franchise, asking several expected questions, such as one’s experience with the IP and the extent of one’s following toward it on social media platforms.

However, the end of the survey does ask if there are any other Resident Evil games you want to be remade. The response must be written out, so there aren’t any pre-written options to choose from. Still, I’m pretty sure most fans will answer Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

Speaking of, in October 2022, we interviewed Resident Evil 4 Remake Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi about the possibility of seeing Resident Evil: Code Veronica remade. There were no concrete plans, but we were told if the “opportunity comes, maybe.”

Hopefully, with this survey’s eventual results, a Code Veronica remake surfaces. We’ll keep you all updated on any significant announcements or developments regarding the Resident Evil franchise.

Resident Evil 4 Remake features much of the tense horror-action players remember from the game with a “state-of-the-art quality” suitable for 2023. However, the team is focused on preserving the essence of the original game and plans to provide a familiar experience that fans of the series remember.

Further, they offer a fresh new feeling with additional story elements. This is a “reimagining” of the original game’s storyline while keeping the essence of the direction with modernized graphics and updated controls.

Further, the free Chainsaw Demo is available, giving prospective players a taste of the game’s early hours.
