Call of Duty: Warzone Launches Solo Game Mode in New Update
Activision announced that their free-to-play battle royal Call of Duty: Warzone has been updated with a solo mode for players to take on 149 other players.
During the mode, players will be dropped into Verdansk without any squadmates and no friends. They are provided with a pistol and few bullets to get them to supply crates for gear. Throughout the mode, players can complete Contracts while they avoid dying, and the ever-changing circle collapse. In the event that you die, players will be transferred to a 1v1 match to fight for another chance.
The publisher provided a few tips in a blog post on how to survive this mode. However, it is mostly based on your playstyle. If you want a fight, well jump out of the plane with everyone else, but gathering loot is also an option. They post also urges players to purchase Self-Revive Kits since no squadmates will be around to help you up. The mode can also be used to get better acquainted with weapons and the map since players can only rely on their senses and the HUD with whatever gear they have.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
