During Sony’s State of Play, Activision shared an intense story trailer for the Infinity Ward developed first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25.
In the trailer, we get a good gist of the high stakes of the full-scale global war happening in the game. It seems as though judging from the trailer that players will need to fight fire with fire, literally, in order to bring down terrorists that have been causing some serious worldwide problems.
In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons. This tough fight will take players from London to the Middle East and other global locations, as this joint task force battles to stop the war once and for all.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the newest entry in the Call of Duty series and aims to give players a dose of nostalgia with its strange naming convention. Still, the game includes a solo campaign as well as a focus on its weapon customization. This depth of customization extends to both main Loadout weapons.
