Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets Early Launch Trailer With Story Gameplay
Activision launched a new story trailer for the Infinity Ward developed first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25.
The trailer highlights more of the single-player campaign, which was missing from the series’ previous installment. Metallica’s Enter Sandman plays in the background of this explosive display of gameplay. Not too much is revealed, but a few of the characters and missions that players will encounter are shown. With the game launch in two weeks, a launch trailer this early is an interesting choice, but those pre-orders will most likely benefit from it.
In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons. This tough fight will take players from London to the Middle East and other global locations, as this joint task force battles to stop the war once and for all.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the newest entry in the Call of Duty series and aims to give players a dose of nostalgia with its strange naming convention. Still, the game includes a solo campaign as well as a focus on its weapon customization. This depth of customization extends to both main Loadout weapons.
