Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Details ‘Operation Spectre Rising’ Launching Tomorrow
Activision announced the Treyarch developed first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will launch a new season of content tomorrow.
Titled Operation Spectre Rising, players will be able to experience new updates across the entire game. First off, players will be able to get to know the new Specialist class, Spectre, who can be used in the online multiplayer mode, Blackout. There’s also a Wetworks Map Update that has transformed the large Blackout map to include an explosion at Hydro Dam which has flooded the entire map. The Alcatraz Map has also been updated.
The team at Treyarch has brought Spectre back to focus on melee attacks while in the third person. However, he will not be able to go prone during this mode, but he will be able to utilize a multi-directional roll. There’s also a new Dart weapon that takes out enemy players quickly.
Additionally, players will be able to unlock new outfits and personalization items for their characters including new Blackout character Uncle Frank and multiplayer maps, Masquerade, Artifact, and the return of WMD. WMD has been updated to include new advantage areas since players are able to traverse levels faster using skills and abilities to get around.
Operation 5 and Operation 6 will launch in Summer and Fall, respectively. The entire update is available to see now on the official blog.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
