The Caligula Effect Overdose Gets Western Release Date on PS4, Switch, and PC

NIS America announced that the FuRyu developed RPG The Caligula Effect: Overdose will launch in North America on March 12, 2019, in Europe on March 15, 2019, and in Australia on March 22, 2019.

Additionally, the publisher released a new trailer from the game to more of its unique combat system where players will plan out their attacks during battle and see the outcome. This makes it possible to juggle and position your enemies for even more damage.

In The Caligula Effect: Overdose players are able to chain moves together in sequence, preview what is going to happen, and then execute the attack. The system alls players to utilize their party member’s strengths depending on the situation. Also, for the really tough battles, players are able to use their Overdose Skill, which could potentially hurt the part.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose stars a cast of students who are stuck in the world of Mobius created by a Vocaloid pop artist named μ. Although this world is identical to ours, students can lose their minds and become enemies to others. Players will join a group of other students as they fight for a way to escape.

Also, the publisher is currently running a poll for players to choose the reversible cover art of the game.

Author’s take: After playing the PS Vita version of the game, I only have good thoughts about how good this version of the game is. I’m excited to see how it’s changed using the PS4 hardware.
