The Caligula Effect: Overdose Introduces the “Go-Home Club” in New Trailer
NIS America released a new trailer for the FuRyu developed JRPG The Caligula Effect: Overdose, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on March 12.
The trailer introduces the members of the Go-Home Club, a group of students who are unaffected by the power of μ (Mu). Each member of the group has a unique skill as well as a personality that they bring, which will grow throughout the game’s story. The characters will each meet at their club to discuss their next plan of action, which involves trying to escape this fake world they’ve been trapped it.
The Caligula Effect: Overdose is set in the world of Mobius, a place where people can forget their problems. However, it’s also been created by a Vocaloid program named μ (Mu) who isn’t going to let the students escape so easily. Players will join a group of students who are trying to escape and fight their out by using the game’s unique battle system. During battles, players can see their attacks before they happen to plan out long combos that inflict over-the-top damage.
