Coffee-Themed Visual Novel ‘Caffeine: Victoria’s Legacy’ Gets Early Access Release Date

Kikai Digital announced that their coffee-themed visual novel, Caffeine: Victoria’s Legacy, will launch on PC-via Steam Early Access on January 30.

The developers plan to use the Early Access period to fix any bugs or plotholes in the story found by players. The team also plans to stay in Early  Access for 1 – 2 months. This version of the game contains completed routes for all four romanceable characters but does not include the True Ending. Additionally, the price will not change for the game between Early Access and the full release.

Caffeine: Victoria’s Legacy tells the story of Taka, who is searching for his lost moms and memories. His only recollection is of a coffee house in the corner of an alley where his parents brewed coffee. While on the trail, he finds himself in the city of Victoria in front of a coffee house named “Taka Coffee House.”

During gameplay, players will make choices that shape the adventure and reveal mysteries of Taka’s life. Along the way, players will meet four romanceable characters who react to decisions made across each chapter. The game also features animated sprites using Live2D to help with immersion.
