Retro Arcade Remake ‘BurgerTime Party!’ Gets Switch Release Date

XSEED announced that the G-Mode developed retro arcade game BurgerTime Party! will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 8.

BurgerTime Party! is a remake of the original arcade classic BurgerTime where players must serve up burgers in the most unconventional way — by walking over the ingredients. During gameplay, players will need to move up and down floors by way of ladders in order to access a floor with hamburger ingredients on it. Then, players will need to walk over the ingredients to force them to drop down a floor. This needs to be done until all the burgers are made.

However, this isn’t so easy as evil food ingredients are trying to stop you from making your burgers. By dropping items or shaking pepper at them, it is possible to get by, but players will need to think of new ways to outsmart the adorably evil ingredients.

The game features over 100 levels across multiple game modes and also has a 2-4 player local co-op mode “Battle Burger” as well as other challenge modes.

There is also a physical edition of the game available for players that can be pre-ordered now.
