Score-Attack Synth Bullet Hell Nightmare Terror Squid Trailer Launches With October Release

A trailer for the upcoming, self-proclaimed score-attack synth nightmare Terror Squid was released from studio, Apt Games.

You can watch the trailer for this upcoming title below:

Terror Squid is an arcade inspired bullet hell where the aim is to avoid projectiles and survive for as long as you can without getting hit by your own projectiles. Inspired by the likes of Super Stardust and Devil Daggers, this title aims to entice players with its infinite replayability, online components and addicting challenge.

Creative Director Syver Lauritzsen stated that they wanted to create a title would be welcoming to newcomers of the genre, while also being incredibly difficult and rewarding to fully master. Additionally, the Creative Director stated that they desire for this title to “infect your brain” in similar ways to 80s arcade titles.

Taking place around a doomed planet, you are a cosmic chaos entity spitting out dangerous projectiles. Those same projectiles revolve around the planet and head towards you however, and your primary goal is to avoid these shots for as long as you can. Boasting tightly choreographed patterns, players must avoid this heinous design of their own making.

Terror Squid is releasing for the Nintendo Switch eShop and Steam on October 15, 2020 for $9.99.
