Playism announced the FYQD-Studio-developed first-person action game Bright Memory, has left Steam Early Access, and is available now on PC-via Steam and GOG for $9.99, at 11 am PT.
Bright Memory launches with a new Office Lady skin for Shelia, which is the fourth costume available. Also, the game will support multiple languages at launch including, Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Latin American Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese.
However, this isn’t the only news from the developer. The team has also provided details for Bright Memory: Infinite, the expanded version of the game in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam for a Q4 2020 launch. Owners of the Bright Memory on PC will receive Infinite for free.
“The input of players who have supported Bright Memory in early access has been invaluable in finding the right balance of myth and sci-fi as well as gameplay mechanics,” said Xiancheng Zeng, sole developer, FYQD Studio. “This update may be the last for this version of Bright Memory, but that just means I can pour all my efforts into the development of Bright Memory: Infinite to maximize the impact of its fast-paced combat and gorgeous ray-tracing.”
The developer has released an extended trailer showing environments, enemies, and weather effects being added to this updated version of the game.
Bright Memory is set in the year 2020 in an alternate universe where a substance, known as the “Soul of Jiu Xuan,” possesses the ability to reanimate the dead. In an attempt to take possession of the substance, the “SAI” – a large terrorist organization controlling its own army – has used a cutting-edge piece of technology known as a “Quantum Transporter” to infiltrate the SRO research facility and steal top-secret and incredibly dangerous data. Players will assume the role of a skilled fighter named Shelia as she takes down any threats in her way.
