Pqube announced that the 18Light Game-developed sci-fi boss rush game NanoApostle has received a free demo on PC via Steam. The demo is released alongside a new trailer that highlights the action-centric gameplay.
In the dark corridors of a secretive research facility, Anita, a girl born from cutting-edge experimental science, becomes intertwined with ‘Apostle,’ a sentient nanomechanical entity. NanoApostle takes players on a journey as Anita strives as she attempts to escape her confines and destroy the prototype bio-weapons that stand in her way. Empowered by her nanite allies, Anita battles through an array of formidable enemies, from axe-wielding mechs to fire-breathing monstrosities and telekinetic horrors, with each fight building to a climactic execution.
The game introduces an innovative combat mechanic through the ‘Destruction Point’ system, where Anita can use Apostle to pinpoint and exploit the weaknesses of her foes, delivering crippling blows. Players can adapt Anita’s abilities to suit their play style by mastering skills like Dodging, Parrying, Slashing Attacks, and using Projectiles. Skill points gained from combat and completing challenging parkour courses allow for the customization of abilities, offering a blend of tactical depth and intense action. As enemies evolve and adapt by activating their failsafe during battles, they alter the environment, escalating the intensity of the combat and testing Anita’s synergy with Apostle to the limits.
NanoApostle will be available on PC via Steam in 2024.
