Developer and publisher 18Light Game has announced their boss rush action game NanoApostle for PC via Steam and planned to launch in 2024.
NanoApostle follows a girl named Anita, who was born from experiments, “implanted with the sentient nanomechanical entity known as Apostle.” To break free from the prison that conceptualized and actualized her agony, she teams up with nanite allies as she battles various prototype bio-weapons.
The enemies are quite varied, with there being “axe-wielding mechs, fire-spewing behemoths, and psychokinetic terrors.” Further, when you damage a boss enough, the environment will alter. These multi-stage encounters serve to bolster the foes’ combative capabilities.
Thanks to Anita’s symbiotic relationship with Apostle, she can dodge, parry, perform a series of slashing attacks, and shoot out a powerful projectile. Additionally, the nanites Apostle boasts uncover structural weaknesses known as Destruction Points, enabling you to strike foes when they’re most vulnerable.
As you progress, you’ll earn skill points that encourage player individuality due to their diverse applications and intentions. Moreover, while skill points are gained from combat, parkour challenges will also grant them if successfully cleared.
The following languages will be supported:
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- Spanish – Spain
- Portuguese – Brazil
