The Gaming Gods Have Delivered a Preview of Blue Reflection: Second Light’s Bathing Suit and Ryza Costumes; You Had Me at “Bathing Suits”

During a special Livestream, Koei Tecmo and Gust shared some gameplay from the upcoming RPG adventure Blue Reflection: Second Light.

Throughout the event, viewers get the chance to get an overview of the characters and the situation that they face in this new adventure. Along with this, we get a chance to preview a scenario along with battle information and merchandise.

However, the highlight of the show was a preview of the additional Atelier Ryza costumes and bathing suits shown off, which are actually fairly revealing. It’s fun to watch the hosts who voice some of the characters react to the costumes and subtly joke about them as it’s possible to add cat ears and other customizable items.

Blue Reflection: Second Light follows three students, Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo, and Yuki Kinjou, who have just been transported to a floating academy with no way home and only their names as memories. Outside the academy, a new area appears called “Heartscape” since it surrounds the world they inhabit.

Here in Heartscape, the characters can find resources for survival, crafting, and battle. Further, they come across memory shards; pieces of their memory come back to them when touched.

However, this place becomes more dangerous as monsters appear. This leads the girls to transform, which resembles a magical girl animation, and they take part in real-time battles.

Blue Reflection: Second Light is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on November 8, 2021.
