Blue Reflection: Second Light Gets November Release Date for PC, PS4 and Switch

Koei Tecmo has announced the western release date for Blue Reflection: Second Light. American and European players will have the chance to play the Gust game on November 9, 2021. It’ll be available for PC -via Steam-, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. PlayStation 5 owners will also be able to play it through backwards compatibility.

Blue Reflection: Second Light tells the story of three students transported to another world. Their only memories are their names. As Ao Hoshizaki (CV: Kanako Yanagihara), Kokoro Utsubo (CV: Tomoyo Takayanagi) and Yuki Kinjou (CV: Yuu Serizawa) explore a floating academy looking for a way back, they end up meeting monsters.

During battle they’ll transform thanks to mysterious powers. Trapped in this other world, the girls will have to struggle together and their true personalities will show up. As the girls spend time together, their bonds will deepen, leading to special scenes as well as new powers for battle.

It’ll be possible to craft items, and picking different people to work together may lead to changes in the items’ properties as well as special dialogues. The academy is also customizable, so the player can upgrade it adding new facilities.

In the first Western trailer for the game, the company has also announced a summer bikini early purchase bonus for the game. Limited Editions for both PS4 and Switch versions are available for preorder exclusively through NISA Online Store. They include an art book, a cloth poster, two acrylic charms, a notebook-styled photo album and an exclusive Ryza costume for Ao Hoshizaki.
