Blue Protocol Japan Release June 2023; Western Release Delayed to 2024

During the Japanese broadcast of their Developers’ Livestream, Bandai Namco announced further information regarding their upcoming MMORPG Blue Protocol. The release date for Japan has been officially confirmed as June 14, 2023.

Unfortunately, during the livestream, the developers also announced that the Global version, which was previously stated to be released in the second half of 2023, will be pushed back to 2024. A PC closed beta test for the West will still occur in 2023.

Those interested in pre-registering for the Japanese version can do so via the official website. However, it’s worth noting that a Japanese Bandai Namco ID is required to perform your pre-registration.

In Blue Protocol, players embark on a quest to uncover the truth about their character’s origins, meet people from many worlds and make new friends with whom they share your adventures. Eventually, you find yourself facing an inescapable destiny that will determine the fate of planet Regnas in an immersive multiplayer experience with deep character customization and action-packed combat.

Furthermore, Blue Protocol also features an action-based combat system that features customizable controls for beginners and veterans alike. Your class depends on your chosen weapons, allowing you to adapt to challenges without changing your character.

Players can switch between five different classes, each with unique skills that add damage multipliers, healing, and elemental effects that can be modified and leveled up. Assign combinations of skills, modifiers, and summon Echoes, mystical creatures derived from the planet’s power that bolster your abilities or aid you in battle, and create a custom hero fit for your play style.
