Blue Fire’s Void of Sorrows DLC will be freely releasing for PC via Steam on September 30, 2021. No word on other platforms has been stated yet.
Throughout this title, players will encounter the Penumbra fortress’s ancestors along with descendants who have taken this land as their home and have tried their hardest to make it so. Puzzles and platforming accompany this game’s combat, making exploration a critical process into which players must pour their skill and practicality.
Questing for various NPCs also plays an integral role in the gameplay loop, providing players with continuous rewards like equipment that alters their stats and appearance. Movement is as important as combat due to the variety of obstacles players will have to overcome, from desolate corridors, abandoned forestry, dangerous magma caverns, and mini civilizations.
