Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Curses the Summer With a PS4, Switch, And PC Release Window

505 Games announced that the Art Play developed Igavania title Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Summer 2019.

Although the game has been delayed in the past, the release window is definitely something that fans can look forward too and it gives the developers enough time to make sure they launch a quality title. Directed by Koji Igarashi, Bloodstained tells the story of Miriam during 18th century England. Players will fight their way through hordes of creatures as the gain new skills and abilities to reach new areas as they make their way through a gothic setting.

Additionally, the game received a brand new trailer giving fans a preview of the gameplay from the Switch version. From what we see, it looks pretty good running on the hardware, but we’ll be sure to compare the other versions of the game. Given that the Vita version of the game was recently canceled, this is the only way to play the game mobile.

You can watch the new trailer below:

Author’s take: I really love this game and I hope it meets fan expectations because there’s a lot riding on the Igavania style with this release.
