Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Development Team Shares Updates on Future Content; Next Update Reveal in October
The development team for the beloved Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has shared an update post discussing the current state of upcoming content and the reasoning for these unforeseen delays.
Firstly, the team confirms that development for all upcoming content is still ongoing, even with the lack of vocal consistency over the past months. Technical difficulties, unfortunately, ran rampant at the start of 2021, and they are in the midst of tackling these issues while simultaneously working on the new content.
Further, the details regarding the next update will be revealed in October. Afterward, Chaos Mode with Co-op and Versus will be the subsequently planned implementations, and their development is already well underway.
You can view the full message from the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night development team on the game’s official website.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is set in 18th century England where a dark force has caused a castle to appear, bringing with it powerful crystal shards. Players will assume the role of Miriam, an orphan who has been cursed by an alchemist, which slowly crystallizes her body. Miriam fights through the castle to defeat the summoner Gebel and his minions to save herself and the world. Along the way, she will be able to collect, craft, and unlock various weapons and equipment to help her on her quest.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, Google Stadia, and Mobile.
