505 Games announced that the Artplay developed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from Koji Igarashi is now available for pre-order on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam and GOG on June 18, with the Nintendo Switch version launching on June 25.
Players who pre-order the game digitally on select platforms will receive special discounts or exclusive digital rewards. The Steam version of the game is set at 10% off for fans. Also, those who pre-order the PlayStation 4 version of the game digitally will release an exclusive Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night dynamic theme with PlayStation Plus subscribers also receiving an additional 10% off.
Additionally, players who pre-order the game physically at Best Buy, on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, will receive a Novobox steel book.
The publisher released a new trailer that shows gameplay and new environments to give players a preview of what awaits them in this new adventure.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is set in 18th century England where a dark force has caused a castle to appear bringing with it powerful crystal shards. Players will assume the role of Miriam, an orphan who has been cursed by an alchemist which slowly crystallizes her body. In order to save herself and the world, Miriam fights through the castle to defeat the summoner Gebel and his minions. Along the way, she will be able to collect, craft, and unlock various weapons and equipment to help her on her quest.
