BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites’ Switch eShop Page Shares September Release Date

The Switch eShop page for BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites has shared that the game will be launching on September 9, 2021. While this isn’t an official release date, we’re sure the announcement will come soon. The game is also coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Steam.

BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites is a remaster of the 2011 release BloodRayne Betrayal. Publisher Ziggurat is working with developer WayForward to release the game with updated assets and gameplay systems.

During BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites the Brimstone Society has brought Rayne out of retirement for one last mission to fight against her father, Kagan. With a group of soldiers, she heads into his castle, but they’re ineffective against Kagan’s strength. Now, it’s all up to Rayne to take on this mission and get the job done.

WayForward was able to return to the game to add in new high-resolution visuals, modern features, and all-new voice acting performed by original BloodRayne cast members Laura Bailey (Rayne) and Troy Baker (Kagan). Further, there will be difficulty options added for players to challenge themselves through multiple runs.
