BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 PC Receives Final Update; Yea, We Didn’t Know it Was Still Receiving Updates Either

Ziggurat Interactive announced that the “Terminal Cut” versions of BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 on PC have received the final updates.

Players can now update the games for free to receive Steam Trading Cards, wallpapers, texture updates, and rendering improvements.

The full list is as follows:

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut

  • Textures on enemy models restored to their original console version aesthetic
  • Japanese voice-acting and subtitles added
  • Additional rendering improvements to water and other textures
  • Miscellaneous bugs fixed

BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut

  • Ephemera boss fight rebalanced
  • Restoration of missing music and audio tracks
  • Improved graphical fidelity for bonus materials
  • Russian language localization improvements
  • Miscellaneous bugs fixed

“When we launched the Terminal Cut editions of BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 in 2020, a new generation of fans were awakened to Rayne’s malevolent and lusty adventures,” said Michael Devine, SVP of Business Development. “We’ve continued to make improvements fans have been asking for, and we are excited to launch what we know are the best versions yet of the original games.”

The BloodRayne series first began in 2002 and evolved into a follow-up game with a film adaptation. However, the action vampire has since fallen obscure in this modern gaming space. Maybe now that this final update has been implemented a reboot is on the horizon.

BloodRayne: Terminal Cut and BloodRayne 2: Terminal Cut are available now on PC via Steam and GOG.
