Blightbound’s Helping Hands Update Adds AI Controlled Allies, New Enemies and Loot, and New Playable Assassin Seirinne
Developer Romino Games and Publisher Devolver Digital, known for their work on Awesomenauts and Fall Guys respectively, have recently updated their multiplayer dungeon crawler, Blightbound, via the Helping Hands update.
You can watch the trailer for this anticipated update below:
The Helping Hands update adds a new playable character, Seirinne, the thief. Said thief comes with the unique ability Shadow Statue which stalls enemies and adds continuous damage on foes. Her constant seeking of riches may or may not be the end of her.
AI-controlled party members finally join the fray, allowing players to finally play solo and at their own pace without having to worry about matchmaking. New elite enemies and items have also been added, further enhancing the replay value of this ambitious dungeon crawler.
In addition to the option of AI-controlled party members increasing accessibility, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese languages have been added in order to make this title approachable to an even wider audience. The story of Blightbound is progressively being updated, making The Blight a gradually more involved and intricately woven and written world.
This Steam Early Access title also now has a 20% discount from now through October 4th.
