Bandai Namco Entertainment has released the first gameplay overview trailer for the upcoming mobile action RPG BLEACH Mirrors High, featuring combat, character customization, and the original cast.
Set after the events of the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime, BLEACH Mirrors High follows an original story in which a soul awakens in Karakura Town. Players create their own Soul Reaper and fight alongside familiar characters.
One of the key features is extensive avatar customization. Players can personalize their Soul Reaper with several options covering hairstyles, facial features, body type, eye color, and additional cosmetic details. Zanpakutō customization enables modifications to the weapon’s blade, guard, hilt, decorations, and visual effects.
Combat comprises a card-based system. Players assemble a team of three characters and use cards to activate attacks, special moves, and the Soul Drive team-up technique. Battles also feature Chain Attacks, which can be linked together to trigger Link Attacks for additional damage.
The trailer also introduces three original Soul Reapers made by creator Tite Kubo. Naru Jurinna, voiced by Fuka Izumi, Giro Hando, voiced by Shogo Batori, and Maiko Tokishima, voiced by Yu Sasahara.
BLEACH Mirrors High is in the works for mobile devices via iOS and Android.
