Publisher Astrolabe Games and developer 91Act have unveiled the launch trailer for the Switch 2 edition of BlazBlue Entropy Effect X.

The Switch 2 version boasts enhanced visuals, an improved frame rate, and GameShare support. An upgrade pack can be bought for original Switch owners. Switch 2 owners will get the exclusive Old World Fantasy and Dango Balloon cosmetics.

This release coincides with a major free content update across all platforms that introduces Platinum as a new playable character.

Additionally, the Training Space has been upgraded, and there are new branching route options across every run.

    About BlazBlue Entropy Effect X

In a locale known as the Lab, elite researchers are working to save a collapsing world, but the head researcher, Dr. Mercurius, informs everyone that the end is near regardless.

Consequently, the Research of Possibility seeks the Shards of Possibility, fragments of the world that can halt this presumed destruction. The Sea of Possibility, a realm between worlds beyond reality, houses these shards. The protagonist, Ace, is the only one who can dive into this sea, so he does so under the Lab’s guidance. However, during this process, countless memories surface in his mind; his body begins to change, and the truth of the falling world becomes evident – The Power of Azure.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
