BlazBlue Entropy Effect Leaving Steam Early Access January 2024

Publisher and developer 91Act has announced that their action roguelike BlazBlue Entropy Effect will launch its official full version for PC via Steam on January 31, 2024.

After four months of Early Access, which consisted of tuning and updates based on player feedback, fans can now anticipate the game’s “complete form.”

The story of the BlazBlue Entropy Effect occurs in the future after the world is plunged into chaos. Individuals enter cyberspace called ACE in a last-ditch effort to save the world. This title is emphasized as a spinoff of the BlazBlue series, with a new story and setting disconnected from the mainline entries.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect features several characters from the titular fighting game franchise presented in a brand-new 2D action game context. Players can anticipate smooth, intuitive controls with various combo possibilities and standout animations that serve to make each character prominently distinct. Other combat features are elemental effects and legacy skills passed between characters, resulting in hundreds of potential movesets to utilize for continually refreshing playthroughs.

The following ten BlazBlue characters are included as playable:

  • Taokaka
  • Es
  • Jin
  • Mai
  • Ragna
  • Hakumen
  • Noel
  • Hibiki
  • Kokonoe
  • NU-13
