BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Receives Rollback Netcode Support Later This Week

Arc Systems Works announced that BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will launch support for Rollback Netcode on April 14, 2022, on PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam.

The publisher announced that this new netcode will allow players to play online easier with less input lag for competitive online play. This also opens the door for players to play against each other across multiple regions.

Originally launching in 2018, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighter featuring characters from across a handful of franchises. The playable character roster even extends into anime with RWBY characters. Each character is unique and players can create a team of all-star fighters to bring into a match and combo until their heart’s content. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle brings you dream matches between the stars of popular titles BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth, Arcana Heart, Senran Kagura, Akatsuki Blitzkampf, and RWBY in a 2D fighting game.

In case you missed it, you can check out some gameplay trailers for a few of the characters available in the update, including, Neo Politan and Yumi, as well as a full lineup trailer showing most of the characters in action.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is available now on PS4, Switch, and PC.
