BlazBlue: CentralFiction Special Edition for Switch Dashes to Europe in Early February

PQube and Arc System Works have revealed that BlazBlue: CentralFiction Special Edition is slashing and dashing its way to the Nintendo Switch in Europe on February 8, 2019. A North America release date has yet to be announced.

What makes this edition so special? For starters, it includes all of the previous DLC and updates for the game — which means it includes all the characters, color sets, and much more content to enjoy.

In the final chapter of the BlazBlue saga, you can expect upwards of 40 hours of gameplay in its story mode (that’s the length of most JRPGs!), over 30 unique characters to play as — such as Mai Natsume, one of the many fan favorites — and more than 60 stages. Since this will be a Switch game, you can battle it out with friends — or take on solo fights — anywhere you want.

With the February 8 Europe release date, European players are lucky enough to get  BlazBlue: CentralFiction Special Edition just one day after Japanese players (Japan release date is February 7). PQUbe mentioned via their Twitter page that the European release does not include an English dub.

Maybe it will be included in DLC or a patch? If we receive any updates, we’ll let you know.

Author’s Take: BlazBlue is one of those games that I would love to learn how to play. Whenever I played previous BlazBlue games, I basically just button mashed my way to victory.
