Blaster Master Zero 3 Prepares for Early PC Demo Later This Month and Introduces Metafight Characters

Inti Creates announced that Blaster Master Zero 3 will receive a free demo during the Steam Next Fest taking place from June 16, 2021, through June 22, 2021. This early demo will allow players to play through a few stages and get accounted with the updated systems and arsenal of this 2D-action platformer.

Additionally, the developer revealed new characters, Kane, the commander of the Sophia Force army, the battle tank that started it all, the original Metal Attacker, and Jennifer, Kane’s wife and engineer of the Metal Attacker series. These two characters are the protagonist of the Japanese version of Blaster Master on NES called Metafight. The original two games had different stories and characters in their respective regions.

Blaster Master Zero 3 features Jason, Eve, and Fred the frog on a unique last fight towards peace and saving Eve, the support droid for SOPHIA III, who has been corrupted with mutant cells during their battles. I also hope to see some returning characters from the previous games, but I don’t mind keeping the cast small as we round out this adventure.

The Blaster Master Zero series from Inti Creates offers a charming narrative pieced together by 2D action platforming. The developer doesn’t need to include as great a story as they did with this trilogy, but it keeps players invested.

If you’re looking for some action this summer, Blaster Master Zero 3 is a game you should have on your radar. You won’t have to wait long as it’s coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 29, 2021.
