Blaster Master Zero 2 Announced for Nintendo Switch and Available Today

Inti Creates announced that they have once again partnered with developer Sunsoft to release Blaster Master Zero 2 on Nintendo Switch available digitally today.

Players can explore the world of Blaster Master World 2 as Jason or his trusty all-purpose vehicle Gaia-Sophia, both of which have a wide array of new weapons and skills to get them through this all-new adventure. Sophia can now absorb shocks and convert energy into SP using the new Gaia System. Sophia also has new sub-weapons that can be used to traverse levels easier and get through hordes of enemies.

Jason also has new skills. During the game, players will need to leave Sophia in order to enter dungeons and take out enemies and the arguably weaker human character. However, Jason can now counter enemy attacks with the Blast Counter and chain these together to take out multiple enemies.

Blaster Master Zero 2 is set in space and introduces new characters who Jason and Eve will encounter throughout the adventure. The trailer also teases that some of these new characters might not be totally friendly.

Blaster Master Zero 2 is a sequel to 2017’s Blast Master Zero released on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, which serves as a reboot of the retro Sunsoft developed series.

Blaster Master Zero 2 is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
