Blasphemous 2 Now Available on PS4 & Xbox One; Launch Trailer

Team17 announced that The Game Kitchen-developed 2D action game Blasphemous 2 is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.

The second installment in the Blasphemous series hints at the reappearance of The Penitent One. This narrative extension follows the events of the free Wounds of Eventide DLC from the original game, in which The Heart in the Sky indicated the return of The Miracle and the arrival of a new miraculous child.

Found in an unfamiliar land and uprooted from his final resting place, The Penitent One is compelled to re-enter the unending cycle of life, death, and resurrection. His only recourse is to explore this perilous new world and uncover its long-forgotten secrets.

Various grotesque adversaries block his path, awaiting judgment from The Penitent One’s ruthless hand. Additionally, colossal, twisted bosses hide in the shadows, eager to return him to his eternal rest.

Overcoming these challenges won’t be straightforward. However, Blasphemous 2 offers increased opportunities to tailor and enhance your skill set, as well as access to an array of new, distinctive weapons, providing a potential path to victory.
