Neowiz announced they will publish the TeamSuneat-developed action roguelite, Blade Assault, on PC-via Steam.
Blade Assault was revealed in a new trailer that showed off its pixel art design and fast-action gameplay. The game is a 2D action title set in a sci-fi world after the Red Stone War. Following the assault, the world was divided into three regions, the mutant infested outside grounds, the Undercity where humans seek refuge from the mutants, and the cits of Esperanza where the rich and powerful rule over everything.
During gameplay, players will fight against the Esperanza as they join a resistance force within the Undercity. The goal is to bring the corrupt to justice and become stronger through fighting alongside your comrades.
Blade Assault is scheduled to release early next year on Steam Early Access but may schedule some beta tests to take place before that happens. The Early Access period will be used to fine-tune the game’s action systems and address player feedback as the developer creates a product that fans will enjoy.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development and the release of Blade Assault, which is also in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
