Fantasy MMORPG ‘Black Desert’ Gets Long Awaited Xbox One Release Date

Pearl Abyss announced that their popular fantasy MMORPG title Black Desert will make its console debut on Xbox One on March 4.

Black Desert is an open world action MMORPG that boasts a highly in-depth character customization system that allows players to create a character that fits their playstyle. Black Desert on Xbox One, will feature a brand new storyline, along with remastered graphics and audio and optimized UI created for this version to work on consoles. Additionally, the game will support 4k Ultra HD resolutions on Xbox One X.

“After the enthusiastic reception of the Black Desert open beta in November 2018, our team has been hard at work making significant improvements to enhance the base game ahead of launch on March 4”, said Robin Jung, Chief Executive Officer at Pearl Abyss. “We appreciate the feedback we received from our Beta testers and the Xbox community and look forward to sharing the final experience in the coming months.”

Black Desert is available for pre-order now with a few different SKUs for players to choose from, depending on how much “extra” they will be looking for when the game launches. The game will launch as a standard edition for $29.99, Deluxe edition for $49.99 and an Ultimate Edition for $99.99. The Ultimate edition will also include Early Access to the game and allow players to play on March 1 ahead of the official launch.
