Black Desert on Xbox One Receives Free Update With New Storyline

Pearl Abyss announced that player’s from their console MMORPG Black Desert will receive a free content update.

Ten days after the Black Desert’s launch on Xbox One, players can now explore a free content update, Mediah. Mediah introduces a new region, gear, quests, and additional features for players who have demanded larger servers and player events.

Mediah serves as a gateway to the Valencian Desert and will allow console players to experience an exclusive storyline that presents new features and gear, such as:

• With a removed level cap and the introduction of the Red Battlefield, players are invited to engage in PvP battles to power up their characters. Be on the lookout for powerful Pure Black Stones as well.
• Kaia Gear and Dim Magical Armor are available for those that are leveled high enough to do these highly sought-after items!
• Visit Altinova, the heart of Mediah, to follow the main Mediah storyline brimming with murder and mystery, or take the scenic route filled with various side quests to fully immerse yourself in the world.

Following the Xbox One launch, the publisher has doubled the servers since the game launched in early access and the team plans to continue to listen to community feedback and improve the game’s systems.
