Black Desert Adds Valencia Content to Xbox One in New Update
Pearl Abyss revealed a new update for Black Desert on Xbox One available now for players.
The update adds Valencia, a desert kingdom which is larger than the region of Mediah. The region contains harsh environmental elements as well as new enemy types for players to explore and encounter throughout their quest. The update also adds Absolute Skills, gear enhancement improvements, new items, and UI improvements based off of community feedback.
Additionally, the developer released a new trailer showing the region and what players can expect during their time wandering the lands. While in Valencia, players who kill other players will receive a villain mark regardless of their Karma and will be treated as a hostile player by others. Once killed, murderers will be sent to Pila Ku Prison to serve time and suffer de-buffs. During their times behind bars, players will need to attempt an escape.
The handful of other improvements added with the update have been detailed at the game’s development blog.
