Black Desert on PS4 and Xbox One Launch Maehwa Character Class With New Trailer
Pearl Abyss has launched a new character class for Black Desert on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, an orphan child known as Maehwa.
Maehwa is the newest playable character for the Black Desert on consoles. She is the adopted daughter of a high-ranking military official who has trained her whole life to become a fighter. Her path has led her to find the power to wield the legendary blue flames of the Crescent Petal.
Maehwa’s battle skills include melee and ranged abilities. In awakening, she unlocks the Kerispear, a long polearm weapon that gives her the ability to utilize the power of the blue flame. The character will launch on console with both her original and Awakening skills, including:
- Divider skill – Maehwa charges forward and cuts enemies down with her blade.
- Chaos: Red Moon – gives Maehwa the power of the Red Moon, allowing her to evade enemy sight and blindside them with an attack.
- Petal Bloom – Maehwa can channel an icy aura into her Kerispear, driving the energy into a devastating thrust.
- Frost Pillars – Maehwa momentarily slows down her enemies with an icy attack.
