Pearl Abyss has launched a new content update for their MMORPG Black Desert on PlayStation 4, available now for players.
This update is the second major update to come to PS4 and is free for users. Players can now explore Valencia and encounter a new world boss as well as use the Lahn and Ninja character classes.
Awakening is also introduced in the update which boosts a character’s stats and unlocks new skills and weapons for them to use in battle. All ten character classes have the awakening ability which is unlocked at level 56. To access, players must complete a quest provided by the Black Spirit where they’ll receive a mythical weapon.
“We’re proud of the amount of content contained within today’s update that’s available for our growing community on PlayStation 4,” said Robin Jung, Chief Executive Officer of Pearl Abyss. “Given the positive reaction to our first content update, we expect to see a similar response from Adventurers today – especially with the game-changing ability to Awaken all ten character classes.”
Black Desert is an MMORPG that previously released on Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. The game has gained a lot of attention from MMORPG fans for its second life offerings and attention to high-quality animations and character customization.
