Black Desert Reveals Free PS4 Beta to Launch Early August

Pearl Abyss announced that Black Desert will receive a free beta ahead of its PlayStation 4 launch.

Beginning on August 9 through August 13, PS4 players who have a PlayStation Plus Subscription can jump into the game’s open beta for free. Along with playing, players will be rewarded with an exclusive Sky Hawk pet at launch, which allows players to loot items, increase Knowledge Gain Chance, and find rare monsters.

Players who are interested can pre-register for the beta now. The game will officially launch on August 22 on PS4.

Black Desert is an open-world action MMORPG that boasts a highly in-depth character customization system that allows players to create a character that fits their playstyle. Black Desert on PS4, will feature the console storyline, along with remastered graphics and audio and optimized UI created for this version to work on consoles. The game is meant to be more of a second life MMORPG that offers players different ways to experience the game, but no wrong way to do it.

Black Desert is available now on PC and Xbox One.
