Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei Reveals New Non-Romantic Character Renders, Profiles & New Screenshots

Publisher Idea Factory International has shared new character profiles, renders, and screenshots for the upcoming otome title Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei. The protagonist can’t form romantic relationships with the individuals depicted in these renders.

unnamed 19 1 — Yoshinaka Minamoto – Shanao and Lord Yoritomo’s cousin and leader of the Shinano Genji. Because he was raised in Kiso after his father’s death, he is sometimes called, “The Young Man of Kiso”. What he lacks in wisdom and class he more than makes up for in fighting skill and stamina. Despite his crass nature, he is skilled at bringing men to fight by his side.

unnamed 18 1 — Kagetoki Kajiwara – A powerful military commander of Sagami Province who once sided with the Heike. He later decided to change sides and follow Lord Yoritomo. He keeps a close eye on Shanao after she joins Yoritomo’s army and is always on the lookout for traitors. His calm face makes it impossible to know just what he’s plotting…

unnamed 17 1 — Hidehira Fujiwara – The third head of the Fujiwara clan in Oshu. Governing the lands far away from the capital, it is said that not even the Heike are strong enough to challenge his territory. A devout Buddhist, he is calm, bold, and extremely kind-hearted. While he invited Shanao to his lands as an heir to the Genji clan, he wants Shanao to live her own life.

unnamed 16 1 — Tokuko Taira – Daughter of Kiyomori Taira and brother to Tomomori and Shigehira. Despite being one of many children, she was always the favorite of Kiyomori. Having married into the Imperial Family, Tokuko gave birth to a son solidifying the strength and influence of the Heike family. She is known to be selfish and self-centered at times.

Additionally, the game’s official website has been updated with new screenshots alongside slight in-game dialogue to detail particular story characters. Today’s website update provides screenshots and interactions for Tomomori Taira, Noritsune Taira, and Benkei Musashibo.
