Neo Geo Pocket Color Classic ‘Big Bang Pro Wrestling’ Launches on Switch

SNK announced that the Neo Geo Pocket Color classic, Big Bang Pro Wrestling, is available now on Nintendo Switch via the eShop.

Big Bang Pro Wrestling initially launched in the year 2000 and has now found a standalone release on Switch. The game joins the other SNK-developed Neo Geo Pocket titles with a few modern options. The online function for the game has been disabled, but a Vs Match mode is available through local gameplay.

Big Bang Pro Wrestling features an easy entry into the fighting game genre as a bunch of tough dudes enter the wring for some bro on bro action. The game has a roster of 10 fighters who each have a distinct look and moveset. Each fighter features a story mode that covers, newbies, masked wrestlers, and heavyweight champs. Various modes are available such as Coffin Death Match where your goal is to toss your opponent into a coffin or players can try to steal away the reward in Reward Death Match.

A trailer was released that shows the game running on Switch hardware. It resembles some of the titles that the company has previously put out.
