Retro Adventure ‘Beat Cop’ Increases Jurisdiction With Release Date on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

11 Bit Studios announced that the Pixel Crew developed retro indie adventure Beat Cop will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on March 5.

Beat Cop has players assume the role of an officer as they must solve puzzles on the toughest streets. Players will be about to interact with the community, deal with dangerous mobsters and gangsters, and decide what kind of cop they are going to be such as whether or not to take a bribe. Additionally, the game follows a story where the player has been framed for murder and must clear their name.

Beat Cop features pixel art graphics and a non-linear story with multiple endings. The game is meant to replicate the essence of ’80s cop show with a dash of mature humor. The game originally released on PC and holds a “Very Postive” review rating from players on Steam. The console port was developed by Crunching Koalas.

The publisher released a new trailer showing the game running on consoles and will launch digitally for $14.99.
