Beach Boys: The Perfect Date Released on Switch Using Asset Flips of Granblue Fantasy Characters

Publisher Cooking & Publishing released a new visual novel dating game titled Beach Boys: The Perfect Date on Nintendo Switch via the eShop.

However, fans were quick to recognize that the characters looked widely similar to character illustrations from Granblue Fantasy. In fact, the illustrations seem to only have a few color-swapped edits done to them to make them “unique.” Regardless, the illustrations are not official, which makes the release strange.

Beach Boys: The Perfect Date is described as a game where players must express confidence in front of a few anime boys. Players will seduce these characters to win their hearts, but evidently, if you lie, they won’t fall in love with you.

The game features a series of questions that players must interact with to get closer to the characters. There are 20 different questions that decide the ending that the player will receive. There are also ways to unlock gallery images of the boys as players attempt to get to the “secret and spicy” question that they as on question 150.

This game may not be available for long considering it is likely illegal, but hey, if you want to date some Granblue Fantasy boys, here’s your chance.
