Sega Brings Pure Action to 2020 With ‘Bayonetta & Vanquish’ PS4 and Xbox One Release Date

Sega announced that they’ll be releasing Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle, a combo pack of two of the most high-action titles released in the past 10 years, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 18, 2020.

Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is a remastered version of both titles that will bring them to 4k resolution and 60fps. This release also comes with a special physical edition with covers created in collaboration with Weapons Van.

We absolutely love both titles and handpicked Dan Dussault because we knew he could knock it out of the park with his attention to detail and his ability to capture motion in his art.”

Dussault created the cover under the supervision of Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya, PlatinumGames, and Sega.

Additionally, those who pre-order the digital version on PS4 will release two themes:

• Bayonetta & Vanquish Theme – available instantly for all digital pre-orders, will not be available at or after launch.
• Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Theme – available for a limited time for all pre-orders and purchases up to March 3, 2020 – two weeks after launch.

Bayonetta is an action-adventure title featuring everyone’s favorite heroine Bayonetta. In an attempt to remember her past, the Umbra Witch jumps straight into battle to take out her enemies and piece together the truth. Her abilities including long combos and shapeshifting into various animal forms. She can also summon demons with her hair, which is always a sight to be seen.

Vanquish is a sci-fi shooter where Earth has been suffering from limited resources, and there their last hope has been overrun by an enemy threat. This game is pure action as players use what is called a BLADE to take down anything in their path.
