Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon Receives Free Demo Ahead of March 17 Release; Save Data Will Transfer to Full Version
Nintendo announced that the Platinum Games-developed demon-fighting adventure Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon has received a free demo available now on Nintendo Switch via the Switch eShop.
During the demo, players can explore the Avalon Forest and take on some of its trials. Further, players are able to play through early chapters of the game, which save data that will carry over to the full version when it launches on March 17, 2023.
During gameplay, players assume the role of Cereza before being known as Bayonetta. Players will witness some teamwork where Cereza and Cheshire will need to coordinate to fight back against faeries and solve puzzles. Players will use the left side of the controller to move Cereza and find enemies with her magic, and with the right side of the controller, they’ll move Cheshire to slash at foes.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon features a storybook-like design where each area looks as if it has been painted by hand. You’re able to take your time with the adventure, but there is a challenge that lurks in each trial. Action elements are weaved into the puzzle themes, but there are some added options to reduce damage and automate controls.
