Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon Announced; Very Different From Any Other Entry in the Series

Nintendo, Sega, and Platinum Games announced the existence of Bayonetta: Origins Cereza and the Lost Demon coming to Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2023.

The game is said to take place before she became “Bayonetta.” The gameplay is similar to a storybook and features action elements lifted directly from the series with a new coat of paint. However, this entry will also feature puzzles that revolve around Cereza’s first demon, Cheshire. The title seems to be focused on narrative and the events that led to the action that players know of in the series today.
