Battlefield 5 Adds a Fan-Favorite Mode for a Limited Time
DICE’s first-person shooter Battlefield V has a fan-favorite mode for a limited time, the 32-player Rush Mode.
The mode is part of the Unstoppable Force event in Chapter 2: Lightning Strikes and was originally introduced in Battlefield: Bad Company. Players can play the mode starting today until March 20.
Rush Mode is a 16 versus 16 experience in which soldiers enter a match on the attacking or defending team and must to control sectors by either bombing or disarming objectives. Attackers need to be quick as they must plant explosives on two objectives in the sector before running out their limited number of respawn tickets. Defenders, on the other hand, must rely on firepower in order to hold the line as they try to stop the offensive.
Playing as a team, regardless of which side you’re on, is of the utmost importance, however. The one saying “there is no “I” in team” is most definitely the case for Battlefield V‘s Rush Mode. To read more details about the new mode, check out DICE’s blog post.
In our Battlefield V review, we shared how in its current state that it was “not perfect by any means” but that could change over time. It seems that the folks at DICE have addressed this by releasing multiple updates, such as The Last Tiger update (which we liked) and now, Rush Mode.

Battlefield V is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
