Battlefield V Gets Launch Trailer Ahead of Official Release
DICE decided to jump the gun on their upcoming first-person shooter Battlefield V by releasing the launch trailer for the game ahead of its November 20 release date.
The trailer quickly highlights key moments in the game and areas that players will be able to wage war on. There’s a mix of gameplay and cinematic cutscenes that gives a decent preview at some of the action that players can expect. However, surprisingly, the trailer doesn’t touch on the single player story of the game, which might be its biggest draw point.
Additionally, the Battle Royal mode announced for the game is scheduled to release in early 2019 and won’t be present at launch. With that said the developer is releasing new content for free to players and removing the paid season pass model.
In case you missed it, check out the most recent trailer showing the game’s eight multiplayer maps.
Battlefield V is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 20.

Author’s take: Currently, the game is available to PC and EA Origin Access subscribers, and EA Access on Xbox One, so that’s cool, go play, if you feel like it. We’ll be sure to check out what the game has to offer in terms of storytelling and gameplay.
